Environmental virtue ethics: Environmental virtue ethics and education
Workshop directed by Karen Elizabeth Jordan, University of Iceland.
How can education in environmental virtue ethics (EVE) contribute to a more sustainable world? This workshop will explore EVE in relation to education. Through mini-lectures, discussion and group activities, participants will consider why environmental virtues are important for sustainability, assess different educational approaches to EVE, and create a plan of action for their own practice.
