Sustainable Drug Discovery Network Cross-UCPH Dialogue Meeting

Workshop - by invitation only

The focal point of this workshop is to create and write down ideas and approaches to research based on three prior dialogue meetings.

The Sustainable Drug Discovery Network is a cross-disciplinary network at University of Copenhagen, funded by the Rectorate of the university. The network brings together scientists and researchers from all faculties to discuss, formulate, and initiate research projects on sustainable drug discovery from renewable resources – such as traditional medicinal plants with local indigenous ownership – with the aim of future bioproduction of sustainable drugs.

The Sustainable Drug Discovery Network is one of ten cross-disciplinary networks initiated by the UCPH rectorate and part of the university's Strategy 2023. The network is headed by a steering group consisting of Assoc. Prof. Astrid Pernille Jespersen (HUM), Prof. Birger Lindberg Møller (SCIENCE), Prof. Dan Stærk (HEALTH), Assoc. Prof. Helen Yu (JUR), Prof. Marie Louise Bech Nosch (HUM), and Prof. Timo Minssen.
