Ways into Ecosocial Education
Guidebook launch and workshop.
How do we bring ecosocial education into schools and their environments? How do we develop new concepts and build alliances to transform public education for the ecological common good?
Join us for an event with Common Ecologies’ ecosocial education strand, which has worked across all corners of the European Continent and all the way to South Africa in recent years, to create a guidebook that looks at different positionalities and stakeholders in education and how they may come together to shape ecosocial education for our times.
Parents, teachers, teacher trainers, school directors and administrators, policymakers, researchers, activists, and students are all welcome! Supported by Center for Applied Ecological Thinking, this translocally comparative project develops tools and pedagogies for situated, context-specific, place-based and embodied ecosocial learning and justice.
At the launch of Ways into Ecosocial Education in Copenhagen, we invite you to think with us about how this book can be useful and translated for the Danish context, through a presentation and a short workshop, followed by a networking reception.
